Every Tuesday, Frank does the sound for Open Mic at The Empress Hotel. He would love to see you there!
Very occasionally the open mic is cancelled, because a band plays instead. Please check this page or ring the pub on 9489 8605 if you want to check whether the night is on.
Start: 8.30 pm
Finish: about midnight
Registration at the mixing desk from 8.00 p.m.
Bookings: at the moment we are taking 4 bookings a night, spread out over the night. You will need to check in by 8 p.m. or your spot may be given to someone else.
what to do…
- three songs (or about 12 minutes)
- any kind of music
- solos, duos or trios
- guitar amps fine
- no drum kits please - for volume reasons and for quick set up
- originals preferred, but we won't throw tomatoes if you do covers
